OSHA Construction
Safety Outreach Training
This 10-hour construction safety outreach training class can be
tailored to the clients' available time frame. Typically, the
class is presented in two 5-hour sessions. Course content is loosely
dictated by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration,
U.S. Department of Labor). Certain topics, such as Electrical
Safety and Fall Protection, must be presented. Other topics can
be selected to cover the specific needs of a particular class.
Great Speakers
can do a session on crane safety, or one on underground tunnel
operations, depending upon the type of work to be done. This flexibility,
along with our expertise in construction safety, enables us to
keep the classes interesting and meaningful, thus promoting better
understanding and retention of the subject matter.
Benefits
Attendees
become qualified to work on government-funded contracts. The increased
awareness of safety issues provides attendees with the ability
to build a safer workplace, with reduced direct and indirect costs
of injuries. For the sponsoring company, this training generally
results in lower insurance costs, fewer OSHA violations and fines,
and a better competitive position for bidding future work.
